Liz Codola - Bio

I am pleased to announce that I have joined Island Real Estate, the #1 real estate office on Anna Maria Island.

Born & raised in metropolitan New York City area. After graduating with my AAS in Fine Arts as a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society I decided to move to Los Angeles, CA. I started my degree in Real Estate in the late 80s in California. Then relocated to the shores of Maui for several years. While there I was fortunate to be blessed with my son Kyle. I have spent decades in the Travel & Tourism industry from the coasts of Hawaii & California through Las Vegas and back to New York.

In 1997 I earned my Real Estate license practicing in the suburbs of New York City. But, after visiting Anna Maria Island I came to find my true home. I have been a licensed Realtor in Florida for the past 13 years working primarily on the barrier islands off Manatee & Sarasota counties. A firm believer in the continuing education within our industry I have earned my GRI from the Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, Certified Distressed Property Expert and Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource credentials.

Throughout my career, my focus has primarily been second homes and investment properties. It seemed fitting to partner with David Teitelbaum, an outstanding marketer, fellow realtor, CAM manager and highly successful builder-developer. In 2000 David acquired the Old Bridge Village complex in Bradenton Beach, and developed it into a mixed-use condominium complex. In 2003 David acquired the Tortuga Inn Beach Resort & the Tradewinds Resort, located in Bradenton Beach and totally re-positioned, renovated, and refurbished between 2004 and 2006, and then converted into hotel-condominium ownership in 2004. In 2008 David purchased, renovated and re-positioned the Bradenton Beach SeaSide Inn Beach Resort. Most recently David purchased and is renovating the Tropic Isle Resort.

From the sparkling calm waters and pristine sand of the island cities of Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, & Bradenton Beach to the newer developments of Lakewood Ranch and Myakka City beyond, let me assist you in finding your perfect property.
